Sue Sweat, Publisher and Editor of
the Canyon Lake Views, has an extensive background as an Executive Assistant
in the corporate world, including The Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce in
the
Economic
Development Department. Combined with her BFA in Art, this experience laid
the groundwork for promoting local businesses area-wide.
As a Wimberley resident of 15 years, Sue assisted with the first Welcome to
Wimberley Guide for visitors and newcomers and provided ad design and sales
for The Hill Country Sun. Additionally she has worked in sales and ad design
along with the publisher of two community magazines with formats similar to
the Canyon Lake Views: The Wimberley Valley News & Views, now in its tenth
year, and the Dripping Springs Outlook. She has been the Editor of the
Outlook since its inception in April 2004.
Sue is very proud to publish her own magazine in Canyon Lake and is
committed to providing a complete source of information to the entire
community surrounding the Lake. She is anxious to thank both Kim Miller and
Gerry Burns of Wimberley for their assistance in getting her first issue out
the door and to the community.
Please call or
